Orrinisms

Here are some of our favorites lately:

Meer = More
Buff = We have no idea, but he says it ALL the time
Fart = Floor and Throw - kind of embarrassing in public
Jo-Nauh = Joanna (which has made Scott and I sometimes call her Jonanna)
No, My Fine = response to just about any question about him (eg. "are you tired?")
Fot = Spot
Mine all done, Mine do it = two favorites
Sing songs? = anything related to music
Boom Band = band aid
Jesus = Jesus or Aunt Lisa (actually he says Lisa now, but for about a month he called her Jesus)

If one of us yawns, Orrin will say "mommy tired?" And if I say yes (and I always do), he'll say "mommy happy?" Or if we mention that we are tired, he'll say "daddy (or whoever) happy?" I'm not sure why those two things are related, but every single time, he asks both questions.

I should add that he can count to 20, and knows his abc's. He will break out in the abc song quite frequently, and also knows the words to Jesus Loves Me (all 3 verses, which he sings with Scott every night before bed), the Wheels on the Bus, and If You're Happy and You Know It. He can correctly recognize most letters, most of the time. He loves watching Super Why on PBS and pointing out the super letters. :) And of course he loves Sesame Street, too.
